My Designs
-Out of all of the designs i believe the black and white pattern will be useful on the legs of the dragonfly and the wing to the left will be useful on the actual wings. The bottom right pattern on the wing of the dragonfly on the right will also be useful with its geometric design.

Elements of Design
- Lines
- Shape
- Direction
- Size
- Texture
- Colour
-Famous Art Nouveau Artist
- Sir George Frampton (1860-1928)
-I like Frampton's work because I like Peter Pan and the sculptures are well detailed and are very visual.
- Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933)
ceramics, jewelry, enamels and metalwork. (http://wwar.com/masters/t/tiffany-louis_comfort.html)
-I personally like Louis Comfort Tiffany's art because I like the look of stained glassed. He used a dragonfly in this piece to add a more elegant look and it pertains to what we are doing now with our dragonfly.
- Valentin Serov (1865 - 1911)
-I like Valentin's work because i feel as though he captures expressions very well.

Phase 2: Putting the Dragonfly together and Painting :)
Today we put all the pieces of the dragonfly together and it looked great. We also chose colors we wanted to pant the front and back of the wings. The colors we chose are all bright bold and give off a happy vibe which you would usually feel when walking into a garden. The colors were Rosy Blush, Bold Yellow, Lime Cocktail and Tangy Orange. Btw the dragonfly is massive if you couldn't already tell :) To the left you can look at the colors we choose. (not the purples)
Color Choices
The color choices we have for our wings are Rosy Blush, Tangy Orange, Lime Cocktail and Bold Yellow which are all bright and bold colors. When painted together they give the wings a fun and jubilant look.
For the legs I would like to use oranges and golds to bring out the purple in the wings since they are complimentary colors. But if we were to bring some of the purple to use in the legs I would want to use the darker purple so they contrast heavily.
The following things will determine how our dragonfly will turn out:
Opacity- the degree to which light is blocked.
Tint- the mixture if color with white which increases whiteness
Hue-the degree to which a stimulus can be described as similar to or different from stimuli that are described as red, green, blue and yellow.
