Elements of Design

  • Lines
-Lines in our dragonfly are important because it gives the dragonfly a geometrical shape. Also different lines define different parts of the dragonfly's body.
  • Shape
-Shapes in our dragonfly are especially important because when you use shapes that contrast it makes the dragonfly stand out from far away. Everything will not be blended and look the same.
  • Direction
-The direction of the dragonfly basically determines whether or not the dragonfly is noticeable or whether or not it is balanced.
  • Size
-the size the dragonfly determines whether it is seen and it also determines how much artwork that can be applied to the structure of dragonfly.
  • Texture
-The texture of our dragonfly determines whether it look presentable and it also determines how the colors are expressed in the dragonfly.
  • Colour
-The colors in our dragonfly are the most important because they determine what type of vibe the dragonfly gives off. The color also determined whether the dragonfly is overall attractive or not.
